Occupational Therapy Groups
At House on the Hill Paediatric Therapy Services in Canberra we love working with groups of children.
For existing clients we offer Paediatric Occupation Therapy Sibling Sessions and School Holiday Groups.
Sibling Sessions are a great way to work towards childrens goals with another sibling or their whole family in a holistic way. Existing clients can enquire with their therapist about aranging this type of intervention.
By invitation to our existing clients only, our School Holiday Groups always fill up fast and are usually themed to target particular goals. Some of the most popular group themes include Art and Crafts, Sensory Play, Water Fun, Nature Hike.
Feeding Group
At House on the Hill Paediatric Therapy Services in Canberra we are thrilled to be able to collaborate with other like minded local service providers.
Along with our Occupational Therapy services we work jointly with Speech Pathology Services and Dietitians, to provide an in term Feeding Group for children aged 5 – 8, targeting family meal time participation.
These groups not only develop strategies for children with feeding difficulties, but also provide an education program for the parents and carers to assist with implementing effective feeding practices at home.
